₹201 PSU Stock Tripled in 6 Months; Stock Can Touch the Level of ₹250

PSU stocks have created a stir in the stock market. Most of the PSU stocks have given double triple and even quadruple returns to their investors in a period of just 6 months to a year.

One such PSU company, Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (NSE: HUDCO), which provides financial assistance for housing and urban infrastructure development projects has also given mindblowing returns to its investors. There is a continuous rise in the company’s shares and a jump of 20 percent was seen on the budget day after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government will build two crore houses for poor under PMAY.

Expecting further upside from HUDCO shares, Sumeet Bagadia, Executive Director, of Choice Broking expressed optimism, saying, “Technical charts indicate a positive outlook for HUDCO shares. The stock may face minor resistance around ₹226 levels. Once this resistance is crossed, the stock is likely to rise to ₹250. So existing shareholders are advised to maintain a trailing stop loss at ₹200, while new investors can adopt a buy-on-dips strategy with a disciplined stop loss set at ₹200.

Although HUDCO stock has seen a 3% decline today, it has gained more than 55 percent in 2024 YTD.
